Does anyone have suggestions for what to program alongside Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s masterpiece “Romancero gitano” for chorus and classical guitar?I have done Jeffrey Van’s “A Procession Winding Around Me,” and Paul Alan Levi’s “Bye Bye Toots” (in the version with classical guitar), and both are really wonderful pieces, but they make weird pairings with the Castelnuovo-Tedesco.There must be other pieces out there that call only for classical guitar accompaniment. I prefer longer or multi-movement works.
