A huge disadvantage of teracopy is that it does not improve transfer speed and hangs at time when copying huge TB’s of files which leads to missing files at times, that’s frustrating. After searching a lot on the internet I found that GS Richcopy works best in these cases. It’s a paid software but I can bet you its the best in the market. Tera copy is a program meant to increase file transfer speed. It basically splits your file into small fragments in which the send speed reduces greatly. Sending a file with 1GB will take almost 30 second as opposed to sending a 1 MB file which will take around a second or two. Now after introducing your file to tera copy it will split the 1 GB file to several 1 MB so that each send take 1 second.Not all file will be sent at the same time but a great number will be sent at once, so the total time will take approximate 10 second from the previous 30 seconds. This calculations are not 100% guaranteed because also ports differ from the fast 3.0, standard 2.0 and the slower 1.0.

So having the 3.0 means the transfer speed will be better than for the one with 2.0 and 1.0.Tera copy doesnt have the open file option, all you have to do is drag and drop your file and you will be prompted to choose a destination where you want your files to end up. You can also choose the more option which displays the segments into which your file has been split into. You can also choose the action to take when the transfer has completed. When you cancel the transfer every action and file sent should be reverted but am not sure, best thing to do is to copy the file and once it is copied you can then delete the original.
